With Lions is a musical group and production duo who splits their time between New York City and Baltimore, where they have been writing for artists and composing music for TV and Film for years. Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Christian Celaya and Woody Ranere, With Lions’ expansive sound reaches across alternative rock and indie with occasional electronic and urban influences that reflect their diverse backgrounds and taste.

Formed after Celaya and Ranere met while on tour as guitarists and singers with their previous bands, With Lions released their debut EP Touch the Sound  in 2011. Since then, With Lions has quietly built a reputation as DIY artists who have found success in recorded music, touring, and sync licensing. Music from their releases has been prominently featured in TV shows like CSI, Gotham, Shameless, Elementary, Riverdale, Lucifer and various other ads and film trailers.

In 2017, With Lions added an auxiliary member Josh Thomas to their group. Thomas, also a producer and recording artist, has worked with various Aftermath Entertainment artists including Dr. Dre. protegé King Mez. Collectively, With Lions has also collaborated with artists such as Teri Gender Bender (Le Butcherettes, Bosnian Rainbows), Deantoni Parks (Flying Lotus, Thundercat, John Cale), and Omar Rodriguez Lopez (At The Drive In, Mars Volta). They have also worked as producers and songwriters for nationally established orchestras, further showcasing their versatility as musicians.
